あまり〜ない / 全然〜ない
not very / not at all
Both require a negative ending. あまり = 'not much', 全然 = 'not at all'.
Examples
あまり分かりません。
あまりわかりません。
I don't understand very well.
全然食べませんでした。
ぜんぜんたべませんでした。
I didn't eat at all.
